Short answers to the usual questions

Unless “Remember my settings on this device” was ticked or you saved a plan file, they lived only in that tab. There is no copy anywhere: we never had one. It takes a minute to set them again.

Yes. On “Weeks and pages”, untick the rows you do not plan. At least one row stays; the style adds one more row of its own.

Pick the Everyday style: its extra row is a plain notes line.

Weeks are numbered, not dated. Write the dates next to the week title, or type them into the notes box.

Open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Preview, Chrome or Edge. Some simple viewers show the boxes but do not let you type. Printing works everywhere.

Use “Save” or “Save as” in the reader after typing; some browsers only show the typed text until you save a copy. Keep the saved file with your other documents.

Try the free preview first; if that fails too, the browser is probably very old or in a restricted mode. Try a current Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox, or another device with your plan file.

To your browser’s downloads, named Meal-Plan-Maker-… with the paper size in the name. On a phone, look in the Files app (iPhone) or the Downloads folder (Android).

The planner uses one font chosen for legibility; a few rare characters or emoji are outside it and are replaced by “?” rather than silently dropped. Rewrite those words in plain letters.

The unlock is per device. Open the link from your confirmation email on the device you are using; it unlocks there. No email? Get the link again at Lost your link? using the email you paid with.

Open the same unlock link there. It works on more than one device for two years.
